This simple linking location looks fine as it is, although there is always the option to provide different descriptions depending on whether the location is lit by torch light or fully lit.

What is the name of your location?

Middle Deck Fore Corridor

What text is displayed to the player upon entering the location for the first time, if there is any?

Using your newly-acquired torch, you descend the ladder and come to a rest outside the ship's Rec Room. There appears to be no damage to this deck beyond the loss of power and atmosphere.

Write your location description here.

The fore section of the Middle Deck corridor is the only space on the ship that movement in all six basic directions is possible. Fore is the Rec Room; Aft is more corridor; Port is the entrance to the Crew's Quarters; Starboard is the ship's Canteen; and the Top and Lower Decks can be accessed by going up or down the ladder.

Where does the player go, or what is displayed when the player tries to go in the fore, aft, port, starboard, up, or down directions?

fore: Rec Room

aft: Middle Deck Aft Corridor

port: Crew's Quarters

starboard: Canteen

up: Top Deck Fore Corridor

down: Lower Deck Corridor

What is displayed when a player tries to go in a direction that has no exits.
