[edit] Engaged Toilet

DennisChow went to the trouble of specifying that one of the toilets is engaged. Are there any plans for this or is it just background detail?

Perhaps if you have plans for a location but not enough time to put them in the design, the idea can go in the Notes section at the top, so we know what's happening? - Weefz 23:03, 22 August 2007 (BST)

  • To be honest, there weren't any specific plans apart from me maybe thinking that we could find a corpse there or something. At the moment it is just a background thing but maybe in the future we can use it in some way as a piece of the puzzle/plot. Like you say though, if people do have an idea for the design of a location but not enough time to implement it fully then a brief description in the notes would be a good idea and would prompt someone else to start implementing the idea. --DennisChow 13:20, 23 August 2007 (BST)
  • Sod it. Let's have the corpse in the toilets with the train ticket and a vial etc and possibly some ID. We also need to find a way to break into the cubicle though.(Not finalised --DennisChow 15:21, 26 August 2007 (BST)

[edit] Exits

would it not be better to unlock the real exit rather than have to clamber back out of the window again (which would avoid climbing on the sinks - something the player may have been put off doing after trying to do similar with the bus shelter) maybe have the doors barricaded from the inside by a bin or something, which would also have the benefit of suggesting that there must be someone/something inside with you --StatusJones 15:34, 3 September 2007 (BST)

  • Yeah, I think this is better actually. I've also gone off the idea of having the toilets concealed from view and not visible from the main map so I think we should have the toilets visible to the south but they are locked. You then climb through the window and can open the entrance door from from inside. We're still not sure whether to have the corpse here or in the field though, or to have the corpse in the field and someting else here in one of the cubicles. Any ideas? --DennisChow 21:33, 3 September 2007 (BST)
  • i'd be more tempted to have the corpse in here as the scarecrow does perfectly well for clothes; maybe this is where he came to hide after being chased by the villagers (is the dead guy still going to be one of your now ex-colleagues? though if so why would he have a train ticket if he was being disappeared with you... well unless it was his job to kill you but ended up getting exposed to whatever the contagion is - um, what is going on with this?) --StatusJones 21:50, 3 September 2007 (BST)
